Our patented technology, with full PCT application, pneumatically transfers modular batteries. These "E-Pods" are moved using a pneumatic tube system from the car to the charging station and from the fully charged rack to the car.
The aim is to make the user experience the same if not better than current internal combustion experiences and the system will be intelligent enough to deliver benefits to preferred driving habits, such as smooth driving and punishments to bad habits, such as excessive deep drawing of the battery pack.
Users will be free to charge their vehicles using mains supplies or can pull in to an "Electron Station" to exchange their batteries for replacement fully charged ones. Using our technology we are able to offer users an ability to "refuel" in under 5 minutes.
GI's modular battery exchange system, compared to the single battery pack varieties, offers a unique ability to part fuel an electric vehicle. This battery infrastructure technology allows users to only carry the batteries required for their journey, thus reducing weight and therefore energy consumption.
